SiloThermom.jpg (15356 bytes) Advertising picture with working thermometer.   Reverse silhouette on glass in metal frame shows a boy in pajamas with his scottie-type dog.   "Dexter Chevrolet, Inc.   Narrowsburg, New York - Honesdale, Pennsylvania"   Two tiny areas on right upper curtain where paint is pulling away slightly from glass.

This antique cast iron Yale Junior padlock has the numerals 324 on the front, and has The Yale & Towne Mfg. Co. on the reverse side. The padlock is in excellent working condition with one key, as shown in the scan, and includes the wonderful time-worn patina. Please note that the dimensions are for the padlock without the key.

pig.jpg (13632 bytes) Earthenware pig bank from Austria circa 1900 - 1920's.   These banks are very scarce.   Small chips and wear to ears, snout and slot, with age crazing.    Incised "AUSTRIA" and "I" on base where the clay is exposed.

bottle.jpg (35885 bytes) Vintage bottle labeled "No.9 Balloon Meteorograph Clock Oil.   Not to be used in other clocks.   Freezing point - 65 degrees centigrade"   Written in faint pencil "refined kerosene".  Has old cork, no contents.   As found.

weight.jpg (15181 bytes) Bohemian / Czechoslovakian sulphide paperweight  from the early 1900's.   High domed and faceted weight with some tiny bubbles enclosed.   The sulphide motif is a young lady in sepia on white shard, resting on a cushion of multi-colored glass.   Good condition, with one small bubble on the base that is open but does not extend to the interior of the paperweight.

tvsign.jpg (11721 bytes) "Do-It-Yourself" vintage silk-screened sign on metal was most likely mounted on a storefront.   All four edges of the sign curl around to the back.   There are two pierced holes on the back that hang the sign with picture wire.   Good overall condition with minor wear, dents, etc.

Fieldandstream.jpg (39001 bytes) "Field and Stream" magazine from March 1940.   This issue has numerous advertisements for fishing, hunting and boating products.   Brand names include Chris-Craft, Colt, Winchester, Ocean City and many others.  Some wear and weathering;  complete 122pp.

needles.jpg (9215 bytes) Dairy advertising needle kit from Burschel Dairy Company in Scranton, Pennsylvania.   Reverse side has a mounted package of imported sharps as well as six out of seven mending needles on paper.   Shows minor wear.  In overall good condition.
